The house

The condo overlooks a rock jetty and the small boat harbor, with views toward Haleakala, Molokini and Kaho'olawe. The lanai has two chairs and a small table, and sliding doors connect it to the living area. Surf can be heard from the king bedroom on quiet nights.

The bedroom has a king bed, full linens, plantation shutters over garden-facing windows, a ceiling fan and air conditioning. Additional sleeping accommodation is in the living area, and the condo has one full bathroom. Ceiling fans serve the rest of the unit.

The galley kitchen has granite counters, full-size stainless appliances, a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster and dishes and utensils. A dining area, washer, dryer, iron, Wi-Fi, Ethernet connection and smart television with satellite or cable service are available. Beach towels, a beach umbrella and additional bedding are provided.

Shared grounds include a heated community pool, waterfront BBQs, a garden and a small book-exchange library. The beach out front extends for five miles. An elevator reaches the third floor directly. An outdoor camera faces the beach and does not face inside.

The Maui Ocean Center is a short stroll away, with mini golf, snorkel tours and harborside dining and shops nearby. Kahului Airport is nine miles north. Whales are commonly seen offshore from December through March and turtles throughout the year, without guaranteed sightings.
