House rules

Maximum occupancy is 10; no additional guests are permitted. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Events are prohibited. Reservations involving events, commercial activities, other non-traditional uses or rotating groups require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees and/or an increased security deposit. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive utility usage. For reservations longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule them during reasonable daytime hours. Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable. If cancellation dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the original total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement booking is collected. If no replacement booking is made, guests may use the original dates if payments are current and Marquis is notified in writing at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; amounts above $3,500 must be paid by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement.

Getting there

Not suitable for unrelated guests. The primary renter must be at least 35 years old. Bedrooms are located on the main floor, lower level and second floor. Nearby beaches include Main Beach, Georgica Beach, Wiborg Beach, Eqypt Beach and Two Mile Hollow Beach. For stays outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May.
