A private dock extends into Mecox Bay, and kayaks and paddleboards are available for guest use. Outdoor amenities include a private pool, dining table, patio and grill. The open-concept living, dining and kitchen areas connect to the backyard through French doors. The living room has a sofa, lounge chairs, flat-screen TV and fireplace. The kitchen includes modern appliances, cookware and a generous island. A powder room is on the main floor. All three bedrooms are upstairs and have air conditioning and closets. The primary bedroom has a king bed, TV, gas fireplace and ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and double vanity. The second and third bedrooms each have a queen bed and share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with a shower/tub combination. The third bedroom includes a desk nook. Bed linens, bath towels, pool/beach towels, a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, washer, dryer and heating are provided. Restaurants, boutiques, farm stands and beaches are minutes away. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. The property is not suitable for unrelated guests. Smoking is not allowed. Additional guests require express approval. Reservations require approval before confirmation. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. A refundable cash security deposit of $10,000 is required, governed by a separate agreement signed by owner and guest before check-in. Payments are generally non-refundable. If cancellation dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a 20% penalty on the total reservation amount is issued after the replacement reservation is fully paid. If not rebooked, the original dates may still be used provided payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments above that amount must be by check, ACH or wire.
