Maurtua consists of a main cabin and an annex. The main cabin has a living room with a wood-burning stove and a TV without connected channels, plus a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle and washing machine. It has a bathroom with shower and toilet. The annex has a living room with a wood-burning stove and dining table, as well as a kitchenette. The main cabin has running water and electricity; the annex has electricity but no running water. Cross-country ski trails and walking terrain are directly outside, and Årvillingen is 200 metres away for swimming and fishing.

The cabin is on Kvamsfjellet, with a year-round road to the property and an automatic toll road on the way. Cross-country ski trails and walking terrain are directly outside. Årvillingen is 200 metres away; Kvam and the nearest grocery store are 12 km away, Vinstra railway station is 22 km away, the tobogganing hill is 100 metres away and the alpine resort at Gålå is 37 km away. The property is designed for 11 sleeping places, but 11 people cannot all sit together around the dining table and in the sofas.

Smoking is not allowed. Bed linen and towels must be brought by guests. Final cleaning, electricity, pillows, duvets and firewood are included. The property is booked on request; availability is checked with the owner or partner, and final confirmation is sent within 24 hours on weekdays.
