The cabin is on Kvamsfjellet at 850 meters above sea level. There is a year-round road to the cabin, with an automatic toll road on the way. Cross-country ski trails and hiking terrain are immediately outside the cabin. Årvillingen fishing and bathing area is 200 meters away; sledding hills are 100 meters away; Gålå alpine slopes are 37 km away; Kvam and the nearest grocery store are 12 km away; and Vinstra train station is 22 km away.
