The house

Mauna Kea Villas #13 has 2,684 square feet of interiors, a great room with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, and an indoor dining area seating eight. Multiple lanais include a private ground-level lanai and a wraparound outdoor area with ocean views, cushioned loungers and an alfresco dining table. Tropical landscaping surrounds the outdoor spaces.

The kitchen has wood cabinetry, stone counters and stainless appliances, including a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Coffee-making equipment, a toaster, blender, ice machine, dishes and utensils are provided, along with a barbecue.

The primary bedroom has a king bed, an ensuite bathroom, a private lanai and ocean views. The second primary bedroom has a king bed, an ensuite bathroom, lanai access and ocean views. The guest bedroom also has lanai access. All three bedrooms have central air conditioning and ceiling fans.

The villa includes high-speed Wi-Fi, satellite television, a washer and dryer, linens, beach chairs, beach towels and a beach umbrella. There is a private entrance and private yard. Children are welcome, and parking is free.

Resort access requires guest registration and a daily fee paid directly to Mauna Kea Resort. Access includes Mauna Kea Beach, Hapuna Beach, community pools and hot tubs. Resort offerings include golf, tennis, fitness centers, cultural activities, children’s programs, spa services, shops, bars and dining outlets; several services carry additional charges. Beach equipment rentals are available for a fee.
