The house

The home accommodates up to eight guests across four bedrooms, with three queen beds, one king single bed and a fold-down couch in the downstairs lounge. Both bathrooms have a hand basin, shower and toilet. A ground-floor bedroom is available. The two levels have no internal connection; the second level is reached only by uncovered external stairs.

Living and dining areas open onto a deck with sea views. The kitchen includes an oven, hobs, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and dishwasher. There is a heat pump, TV, Wi-Fi, Chromecast, board games, a washing machine and a BBQ. Solar panels are fitted to the house.

Off-road and boat parking are available, along with a standard EV/hybrid charger that is not a fast charger. Linen is included: sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats and tea towels, with pillows and duvets provided. Beds are made before arrival and stripped after departure.

Matapouri Bay is a short walk away. There is access to an unfenced stream, so children should be supervised after heavy rainfall. Three exterior security cameras cover the upstairs main entrance, downstairs main entrance and two downstairs sliding doors; all are deactivated before guests arrive.
