The house

The condo accommodates up to four guests. Its open-concept living and formal dining areas feature greyed woods, textured white oak flooring, custom millwork, and stone and glass tile. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors connect the living space to multiple lanais overlooking the Pacific Ocean, golf course, gardens, and Maliula pool.

The fully equipped kitchen includes Thermador and Bosch appliances, a refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, oven, dishes and utensils, wine cooler, and ice maker. Central air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, television, linens, a hair dryer, and an iron are provided.

Both bedrooms have a king bed, ceiling fan, central air conditioning, lanai, ocean view, television, walk-in closet, and ensuite bathroom. The primary ensuite has a standalone shower, soaking tub, and dual vanity; the guest ensuite has a standalone shower and dual vanity.

Maliula Residences are within Timbers Kauai, near the Maliula and Kaiholo pools, Timbers Spa, Timbers Fitness Center, tennis courts, and the Ocean Course at Hokuala. Shared amenities include a community pool, hot tub, sauna, and game room. Families can use the pool areas and Tykes Club; toys, weekly activities, and concierge services are also available. Nearby resort dining includes Hualani's Restaurant and Bar and Nalu's Restaurant at the Maliula Pool.

Beach towels, mats, chairs, an umbrella, a cooler, and a beach bag are provided, along with an outdoor shower. Beach equipment rentals are available for an additional charge. Daily housekeeping, pre-arrival grocery shopping, on-property rental cars, valet or self-parking, roundtrip airport transfers, and spa services are available through the resort. Daily buffet breakfast is limited to a maximum of two guests per bedroom.

Hokuala is a five-minute drive from Lihue Airport. Beaches, dining, shopping, golf, hiking, fishing, cycling, and watersports are within reach by car. A rental car is recommended for exploring beyond the resort. A daily resort fee of $40 is charged by and paid to Hokuala Resort upon checkout.
