The house

The home accommodates up to 12 guests and has five bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. Natural light, hardwood floors and an upright piano complement an open-plan living room, dining area and island kitchen. Interior design is by Steven Alan Interiors. An office has a desk and monitor, and indoor recreation includes ping-pong.

The second-floor primary bedroom has a king bed, an ensuite bathroom and a rain shower. A main-floor bedroom has a king bed; another second-floor bedroom has two queen beds. The fourth bedroom has a bunk bed and a twin/single bed. The fifth bedroom doubles as the second-floor office and has a sofa bed. All five bedrooms have air conditioning and streaming TV; the first four also have closets. There is one full bathroom with a shower on the main floor, two full bathrooms with showers upstairs, one of which also has a tub, and a half bathroom on the lower level.

Outdoor facilities include the private heated, fenced pool, a year-round hot tub, lawn games, a fire pit, a deck, a patio and an outdoor grill. The home also has a fireplace, heating, fitness equipment, a microwave, Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, an iron and ironing board, bed linens, bath towels and pool/beach towels. Children are welcome; a crib is not provided.

Hunter and Windham ski mountains are 20 minutes away. Hiking trails and nature reserves surround the home, and Saugerties, Woodstock, Hudson and Rhinebeck are less than a 30-minute drive away. The homeowner manages on-the-ground operations and guest communication after booking confirmation.
