# Magnificent Mountain Dream Saugerties, New York, United States (general area) ## About the house The home accommodates up to 12 guests and has five bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. Natural light, hardwood floors and an upright piano complement an open-plan living room, dining area and island kitchen. Interior design is by Steven Alan Interiors. An office has a desk and monitor, and indoor recreation includes ping-pong. The second-floor primary bedroom has a king bed, an ensuite bathroom and a rain shower. A main-floor bedroom has a king bed; another second-floor bedroom has two queen beds. The fourth bedroom has a bunk bed and a twin/single bed. The fifth bedroom doubles as the second-floor office and has a sofa bed. All five bedrooms have air conditioning and streaming TV; the first four also have closets. There is one full bathroom with a shower on the main floor, two full bathrooms with showers upstairs, one of which also has a tub, and a half bathroom on the lower level. Outdoor facilities include the private heated, fenced pool, a year-round hot tub, lawn games, a fire pit, a deck, a patio and an outdoor grill. The home also has a fireplace, heating, fitness equipment, a microwave, Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, an iron and ironing board, bed linens, bath towels and pool/beach towels. Children are welcome; a crib is not provided. Hunter and Windham ski mountains are 20 minutes away. Hiking trails and nature reserves surround the home, and Saugerties, Woodstock, Hudson and Rhinebeck are less than a 30-minute drive away. Inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability outside Memorial Day to Labor Day; spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May. The primary renter must be at least 22 years old. Smoking is not allowed. Additional guests and events are prohibited without express approval. Events, commercial activities, rotating guest groups and other non-traditional uses require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Reservations require approval before confirmation. One dog of 50 lbs or less is permitted for an additional $100.00 per booking. Larger dogs, multiple dogs and other pets require express approval. The additional-fee schedule states $100 per dog per booking. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive utility usage. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For reservations longer than seven nights, weekly cleaning is mandatory and in-stay cleaning is at the guest's expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If canceled dates are reopened at the owner's discretion and rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation. If the dates are not rebooked, guests may use their original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments over $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to the booking agreement.
