Questions guests ask before booking

Answered by the host; the same facts Chucho uses.

How many guests can stay?

The apartment accommodates up to 4 guests and has 2 bedrooms, 2 beds and 2 bathrooms. Bed sizes and the arrangement of beds between bedrooms are not specified.

What should I know about stay lengths and arrival times?

The public description advertises monthly stays exclusively, and the Spanish short summary specifies a minimum of 45 days. These statements conflict with the structured booking terms, which list a minimum of 1 night and a maximum of 365 nights; confirm the applicable minimum before booking. Check-in starts at 3 p.m. and check-out is at 11 a.m. Please provide your approximate arrival time in advance. The host notes limit check-in to 10 p.m., although 24-hour check-in is also listed as an amenity; confirm arrangements before arrival.

Which toiletries are supplied?

To ensure a smooth start to your visit, we provide a complimentary set of toiletries upon your arrival. This includes essentials such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, and toilet paper. However, please note that these initial supplies are meant to get you started, and once they are depleted, we kindly ask our guests to purchase their own toiletries for the remainder of their stay.

Is there a shared workspace, and what is nearby?

Your hotspot for productivity awaits at our shared space in the heart of Casco Viejo! Unleash your creativity, connect with fellow entrepreneurs, and conquer the workday in style. The coworking space is free; ask us for more information. This apartment is located in the Casco Viejo neighborhood, at the corner of Sisu. In this area you will be close to everything you may need: grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, bars, museums and places of interest, all within walking distance.

How can I get around, and what are the parking options?

In Casa AcoModo at Casco Viejo everything is within walking distance, including the metro station, bus stops, and places of interest. Since this is an old city, it was not intended for cars, making parking quite difficult and expensive. We recommend using Uber or bikes to move around. Ask us about our e-bike rentals. We do not recommend any informal lots; there are four gated ones at different distances from the property. Paid off-premises parking is advertised.

When is support available?

Our communication availability is from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. to best serve your inquiries. Our team will do their best to answer messages past this time. In case of emergencies, please feel free to call at any time. If we do not have our staff on site, we will do everything possible to assist you remotely until we can arrive in person. Please remember that you’re staying in an apartment, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action as soon as possible, but there is no one living on site 24/7.

What can I explore in Casco Viejo?

Casco Antiguo, also known as Casco Viejo, or the “old quarter,” is Panama City’s historic district. Considered a UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Site, the district dates back to 1673, and features vibrant plazas and picturesque brick-paved streets surrounded by colorful buildings. The area is ideal for walking, discovering history and enjoying a variety of fine cuisine. Come for some of the city’s best gastronomy, culture and photo opportunities, and stay to mingle with the locals in the heart of the nightlife scene. Start your visit with a lively walk through the neighborhood. You’ll encounter some religious history at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Panama City located in the main square, Plaza Mayor, as well as the Church of San Jose, famous for its amazing golden altar. As you walk, make sure to stop at Plaza de Francia. The plaza is also home to Las Bóvedas, a monument that was once used as a defense against pirate attacks. Casco Antiguo is also home to several of the city’s top museums, including the Museo del Canal (The Canal Museum), and the Museo de la Mola, featuring the traditional textile art made by the Guna indigenous group. You’ll also find the iconic stone archway at Arco Chato, which is the remains of a church built by Dominican friars, and a beautiful photo opportunity. Next, be sure to visit the Panama National Theater to see the stunning ceiling frescoes painted by Robert Lewis. On your walk, you’ll also get the chance to do some shopping, with opportunities to buy local crafts and visit high-end boutiques. When you get hungry, you’re in luck. Casco Viejo is home to the heart of the gastronomy scene in Panama City. You’ll be met with the smells of grilled seafood wafting through its historic streets, and you’ll get to try some of Panama’s best dishes, as well as cuisine from all over the world made by premier chefs. After dinner, check out the nightlife scene, or take in the sunset with views of the capital from one of the amazing rooftop bars overlooking the city.

What care and conduct rules apply?

Welcome to your stay in Panama! Please help keep the property comfortable and in great condition for you and future guests. Doors and windows: Panama’s climate is hot and humid. Leaving doors or windows open can cause condensation, which may damage the air conditioning. Please keep them closed to maintain a comfortable environment and protect the unit. Energy conservation: Energy costs in Panama are quite high. Please turn off the air conditioning when it is not needed and switch off the lights when you leave the apartment. Shoes outside: If you observe a tradition that involves leaving shoes outside, please let us know in advance. This practice is not allowed in the building corridors for safety reasons. Plant care: The plants add a vibrant touch to the space. If your stay is longer than two nights, please water them lightly if you notice the soil is very dry. Public order: Please keep conversations calm if misunderstandings arise. Loud arguments or actions that disrupt public order may incur an extra fee, and building security may involve the police if necessary. In such cases, the host reserves the right to end your stay without a refund. Thank you for helping maintain a welcoming, peaceful space for everyone. Please reach out if you need anything.
