# Les Dunes Duck, NC, United States (general area) ## About the house The estate accommodates up to 24 guests across 11 bedrooms in a main house and guest house. Its 13 bathrooms comprise 10 full bathrooms and three half bathrooms. The bed inventory includes six king beds, one queen bed, six twin beds and two twin-over-twin bunk sets. The main house has three levels. Level 1 contains two twin bedrooms with shared bathroom facilities, a half bathroom, a kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator and laundry. Level 2 has four king ensuite bedrooms and a recreation room with a pool table, foosball, TV seating and a kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator. Two of these king bedrooms share a whirlpool-tub room. Level 3 has a king ensuite bedroom with a standing shower and whirlpool tub, a great room with ocean-to-sound views, gas fireplace and wet bar, a large kitchen, breakfast area, dining room, butler's pantry with a full refrigerator and sink, screened porch, laundry, office and half bathroom. The main house features oak floors, terracotta tiles and wainscoting. The guest house has three ensuite bedrooms on Level 1: one with a queen bed, one with two bunk sets and one with two twin beds, each with a standing shower. Laundry is also on this level. Level 2 has a king ensuite bedroom with a standing shower, soaking tub, cedar-lined closet and private deck. This level also has a half bathroom, great room with a fireplace and shuffleboard, large kitchen, dining room, office, screened porch and soundside deck. The guest house has nautical decor and white wainscoting. Two elevators serve the estate. Outdoor facilities include a private saltwater swimming pool, hot tub, poolside cabana, gazebo, dune deck, outdoor shower and multiple screened porches. A shaded screened patio has a picnic table and seating for outdoor dining for 18–20 people, a utility sink, bar and gas grill. There are two widow's walks and landscaped grounds planted with more than 500 perennials. An Audubon reserve borders two sides of the estate, and there are no neighboring homes on three sides. Entertainment includes a pool table, foosball, ping pong, shuffleboard, satellite TV and streaming TV. Bath towels, bed linens, pillows, blankets, an iron and ironing board, and five beach chairs are provided. Kitchen equipment includes cookware, dishes, utensils, a dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, and drip and pod coffee makers. Beach Cabana Plus provides two umbrellas and six beach chairs during May 24–September 11, 2026, and May 30–September 10, 2027. K Club Golf and the Welcome Program are available. Wi-Fi is advertised as the fastest available on the Outer Banks. The estate is oceanfront at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Palmer's Island. Beach access is via a private walkway with steps. Parking is limited to eight vehicles. An outdoor security camera faces the street or driveway. A Duck beach nourishment project is planned for 2027. No pets and no smoking. Saturday check-in is at 16:00 and Saturday checkout is at 10:00. Bookings more than 51 weeks in advance are permitted. The gas fireplace is available January 1–April 25 and October 10–December 31 in 2026, and January 1–April 23 and October 9–December 31 in 2027.
