Hardwood floors and large windows run throughout the house. The vaulted great room has a gas fireplace and grand piano; an adjoining library has floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and reading seating. An artist’s studio is also featured. The finished basement contains a media room with a wraparound sofa that converts to a sleeper, a ping-pong table and a dartboard. The dining area seats six. Sliding doors lead to a large deck with bench seating, Adirondack chairs and a seven-person hot tub. Steps descend to the private outdoor lap pool, which has a bluestone perimeter and a white picket fence. An outdoor shower is beside the house. Beyond the fence, the landscaped yard has an outdoor dining area seating eight and screening shrubbery. Outdoor equipment includes a grill, three adult bicycles, a kayak/canoe, beach chairs, a beach umbrella and lounge chairs. A communal tennis court and playground are nearby. Additional facilities include heating, fitness equipment, laundry facilities, linens, bath towels, pool/beach towels, a hair dryer and an iron with ironing board. The homeowner manages on-the-ground operations and guest communication after booking confirmation. The property is not handicap accessible and is not suitable for unrelated guests. Maximum occupancy is eight. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Smoking is not allowed. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If a canceled reservation is rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement booking is collected. Reopening canceled dates is at the owner’s discretion. If the property is not rebooked, the original dates may still be used if payments follow the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation starts. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments over $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property includes up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement’s coverage terms. The owner may arrange showings to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to schedule them during reasonable daytime hours.
