The first-floor studio-style guest room has a super-king-size bed and a seating area with two sofa chairs in a large Victorian bay window. Views extend across the beach, piers and harbour. The ensuite shower room contains a shower, WC and wash basin. Bed linen is provided.
A complimentary continental-style breakfast includes cereals, juices, tea, coffee, biscuits and yoghurts. Guests have access to The Sandbeck’s shared outside BBQ area, guest laundry and games cupboard. A lift serves all floors.
The property is close to Whitby’s town centre, beach and harbour. Captain Cook’s Monument and the Whalebones are a short walk away. A path in front leads down to West Cliff beach and Whitby Pavilion; the Khyber Pass steps lead towards the harbour and quayside. On-street parking uses a scratch card purchased on site.
