# Le Lapin St John, VI, U.S. Virgin Islands (general area) ## About the house Le Lapin is a private villa on a one-acre hillside in the Hart Bay / Rendezvous Bay area. The villa has a cohesive two-level layout, open-plan great room, fully equipped kitchen, indoor dining area, covered decks, wraparound decks and views of Hart Bay, Chocolate Hole, Pillsbury Sound and St. Thomas. The private pool is 34 by 12 feet, solar heated and located beside a shaded hammock and pergola. The living room has comfortable seating and a smart TV for streaming. The kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator/freezer, four-burner stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, cookware, dishes and utensils. A washer and dryer are provided. Four bedrooms have air conditioning, screened sliding glass doors and ocean views. Two main-level bedrooms have convertible twin-to-king beds; two upper-level master suites have king beds, ensuite bathrooms and access to wraparound decks and covered porches. Cruz Bay is an 8–10 minute drive away. A jeep rental is needed; roads to the home are paved, with a bumpy final portion. Parking is available at the villa. Cruz Bay is an 8–10 minute drive, and beaches in the National Park are a 10–20 minute jeep drive. Seasonal weekly rates apply for 2–8 people. A 12.5% hotel tax, 5% service charge, $400 cleaning fee and $59 non-refundable damage waiver apply. The damage waiver covers the first $500 in accidental damage when damage is reported while on the island; damage above $500 is the guest's responsibility.
