A large pond across the road from the private driveway offers kayaking and paddleboarding, and the home has views toward Pond D'Pines. The Napeague Stretch is nearby for shopping and dining. The driveway entrance leads upstairs to an open living space with a potbelly wood stove, an eat-in kitchen with granite countertops, new appliances and a dining table, and sliding doors to a wraparound deck with a gas grill. The upstairs primary suite connects to a study. A second entrance passes an outdoor shower and laundry room into another living area, with stairs connecting the levels. The upstairs bedroom has a king bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. The two main-floor bedrooms have a king bed and a queen bed respectively. There is also an upstairs half bathroom and a main-floor full bathroom with a shower and tub. Outdoor furnishings include two lounge chairs, a table, chairs and an umbrella. Bed linens, bath and beach towels, heating, hot water, a hair dryer, washer and dryer are provided. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, blender, dishes, silverware, pots and pans. The homeowner manages on-the-ground operations and guest communication after booking confirmation. Any proposed event, commercial activity, other non-traditional use or rotating guest group requires prior written host approval and may incur additional fees and/or an increased security deposit. Pets require owner approval and may incur fees and/or a security deposit. Utilities are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $45.00 per night. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Spring cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May. For stays outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about the availability of outdoor furniture and equipment. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Following cancellation, Marquis may work with the owner to reopen the dates. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation. If no replacement reservation is made, use of the original dates remains possible when payments comply with the agreed schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property carries up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to the booking agreement's coverage terms.
