The house

Lay Day House is a project by Lay Day Coffee, set among gum trees with cork floors, mid-century furnishings and wallpaper in the main bedroom. The open-plan living and dining area has an indoor fireplace, a French provincial dining table and a smart TV. The fully equipped kitchen includes a Smeg refrigerator, Moccamaster coffee machine, Lay Day Coffee, dishwasher, oven, stove, freezer, kettle, toaster, dishes and silverware. Outside are a garden, private balcony and deck with panoramic views, a Weber barbecue and a gate at the deck entrance.

Bed linens, ceiling fans, an iron, hot water, Aesop shampoo and Thankyou hand soap are provided. The internal laundry has a washing machine and dryer. Both bathrooms have a shower, toilet and vanity; the second also has a laundry/bath combination. The home is suitable for children aged 2–12 and infants under 2.
