The house

The home sleeps eight across four ensuite bedrooms. Three bedrooms have king beds; the fourth has a double-over-queen bunk bed and a separate twin bed. All four bedrooms have central air conditioning and ceiling fans. The primary suite has a private balcony with mountain and golf views; Guest Bedroom 2 has mountain views, Guest Bedroom 3 has mountain and golf views, and Guest Bedroom 4 has mountain views. A powder room serves the shared spaces.

The vaulted great room has wood beams, a television with satellite or cable service, and wide glass doors opening toward the pool. The indoor dining table seats eight. The kitchen has a stone-counter island with bar seating, professional-grade appliances, refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, cookware and utensils, wine fridge, ice machine, rice cooker, and blender.

The covered lanai has lounge chairs, shaded dining, and an outdoor kitchen with a built-in BBQ. The private pool and adjacent spa face the fairway, with tropical planting and a nearby outdoor shower. The home also has a private yard, beach towels, linens, extra pillows and blankets, a washer and dryer, hair dryer, and iron. Beach equipment rentals are available for an additional charge. Safety equipment includes smoke detectors, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit.

49 Black Sand Beach is within walking distance. Beach 69, Hapuna Beach, and Mauna Kea Beach are a short drive north. The Shops at Mauna Lani have groceries and restaurants, and Kona International Airport is south along the coast highway. A car is recommended. Resort golf, tennis, pickleball, and fitness facilities carry separate charges and are not included.
