The house

The 4,800-square-foot villa accommodates up to 10 guests and has an upper lanai overlooking Lanikai and the Mokulua Islands. The top-floor living area has vaulted ceilings, wood floors, a sectional and sliding doors opening toward the lanai. The indoor dining table seats 10, and air conditioning and ceiling fans serve the home.

The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, a gas range, refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, utensils and counter seating for seven. Coffee-making equipment includes a coffee maker, espresso machine and grinder; a kettle, toaster, blender, crockpot and rice cooker are also provided. The shaded upper lanai has lounge seating, outdoor dining and a BBQ, and an outdoor kitchen is available.

The covered game room has billiards, shuffleboard and a wet bar and opens toward the private heated pool, hot tub and landscaped garden. Other entertainment includes table tennis, smart TV, a home theater and audio systems. The grounds include a private yard and outdoor shower. Beach towels, mats, chairs, umbrellas, bags and boogie boards are provided.

The primary bedroom and guest bedroom 2 each have a king bed, split air conditioning, ocean views, lanai access and an ensuite with dual vanity, soaking tub and walk-in shower. Guest bedroom 3 has a king bed, split air conditioning, high ceilings, garden views and access to a designated guest bathroom. Guest bedroom 4 has split air conditioning, garden access and an ensuite with a single vanity and walk-in shower.

The home has a private entrance, free parking, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, self check-in and a starter supply of household and bath essentials. Linens, extra pillows and blankets, shampoo and a hair dryer are provided. Children are welcome; a pack and play and stair gates are available. Safety equipment includes smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, a first-aid kit, fire extinguisher and outdoor lighting.

Lanikai Beach, the Pillbox hiking trail and Kailua's historic downtown are nearby. Honolulu and Daniel K. Inouye International Airport are approximately a 30-minute drive away. The villa is reserved exclusively for one renter for a full 30-day period.
