Questions
Questions guests ask before booking
Answered by the host; the same facts Chucho uses.
What is the condo like, and how many guests can stay?
This spacious beachfront condominium is within Playa Escondida Resort & Marina, about one hour from Panama City. It accommodates up to 10 guests, with 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 6 beds. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and air conditioning; individual bed arrangements are not specified. Designed for families or groups, the home combines modern comfort with Caribbean charm and offers direct beach access. There is a private terrace with tropical views and ocean breezes, plus airy living and dining spaces. Guests have access to the resort’s shared swimming pools, clubhouse, marina and beachfront bohíos with barbecues. Private parking is included, and the gated community offers privacy and security. Barbecue reservations carry an extra fee, as detailed below. The setting suits both a tranquil getaway and a seaside adventure.
What are the stay rules, parking arrangements and barbecue conditions?
Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be requested, subject to availability. The minimum stay is 1 night and the maximum is 365 nights. The property includes 2 private parking spaces. Pets are not allowed. Only registered guests may stay; day passes and unregistered guests are not authorized. The apartment does not have a barbecue. Each beach bohío has its own barbecue, which must be reserved directly with the complex administration and carries an additional fee.
Which complex facilities can guests use?
You will have access to the Club House, including the beach, pools, bar, islands, restaurants, land and water playground, and La Tiendita, the complex’s mini market. These are complex facilities rather than private facilities within the apartment.
What transport is recommended, and when is traffic busiest?
Travel by car is recommended. The advertised journey from Panama City is approximately 60–70 minutes, depending on traffic. The general route heads toward Colón via Corredor Norte or Transístmica (Avenida Simón Bolívar), then through Sabanitas toward Costa Arriba and María Chiquita, following signs for Portobelo and María Chiquita. Leave before 8:30 AM or after 10:00 AM to avoid rush-hour traffic leaving the city. Afternoon traffic returning to Panama City, around 4–6 PM, can also be heavy. If you are not renting or owning a car, you can arrange a private driver or shuttle from Panama City or Tocumen Airport; the host describes this as the most comfortable and reliable alternative.
When is guest support available?
Communication hours are 7 AM to 10 PM. The team will do its best to answer messages outside those hours. In emergencies, you may call at any time. If staff are not on site, the team will do everything possible to assist remotely until someone can arrive in person. Please remember that you are staying in an apartment, not a hotel, and treat the space with respect. The team will try to address problems as soon as possible, but no one lives on site 24/7.
