# La Maison du Guil

## About the house

The guesthouse occupies a restored former 16th-century priory. Four individually decorated guest rooms are offered: two classic and two unusual rooms. Breakfast is served on the terrace in fine weather and in the vaulted room beside the fireplace in winter. Guest-table dinners are served in the vaulted dining room two to three evenings per week, by reservation. A sauna and in-room massages are available for an additional charge. The property overlooks the Guil gorges and Durance valley. The separate gîtes are distinct from the guest rooms.

The guesthouse is in the hamlet of La Font d’Eygliers, near Guillestre, and overlooks the Guil gorges and Durance valley. It is a few kilometres upstream from Lake Serre-Ponçon and near the fortified village of Mont-Dauphin.

Please do not bring your own drinks to dinner. Guest-table dinners are by reservation and are served two to three evenings per week. Sauna: €20 per room for a 30-minute session; robes and slippers are provided. A full one-hour massage costs €80 and should be arranged several days before arrival. The massage is for relaxation and is not medical or physiotherapy treatment.
