The house

The home has three living areas, floor-to-ceiling ocean-facing windows, and private entrances on each level. The second- and third-floor living rooms have queen sleeper sofas, split air conditioning, ceiling fans and lanai access. Indoor dining includes an eight-seat table on the second floor; the shoreline terrace seats ten.

Two fully equipped kitchens on the second and third levels have stainless steel appliances, full-size refrigerators, electric cooktops, microwaves and dishwashers, with additional kitchenettes elsewhere in the home. Kitchen equipment includes an oven, coffee maker, grinder, blender, rice cooker, crockpot and food processor; a BBQ is also available.

The second floor contains the primary king suite with an ensuite bathroom and dual vanities, plus a queen bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. The third floor contains a king bedroom and a queen bedroom, both with mountain views. The first-floor studio bedroom has a king bed, twin daybed, ensuite bathroom, ocean views and lanai access. All five bedrooms have split air conditioning and ceiling fans.

Outdoor facilities include a private solar-heated pool, ocean-view hot tub, outdoor shower, private yard and seating terraces on multiple levels. Beach chairs, towels and an umbrella are available, and beach equipment rentals carry an additional charge.

An elevator serves the second and third floors. Other facilities include a commercial-size washer and dryer, high-speed Wi-Fi, Ethernet, smart TVs, satellite or cable TV, DVD player, toys and a Pack and Play. Bathrooms include a jet tub, soaking tubs and walk-in showers. Security cameras, smoke detectors, a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit are provided.

Magic Sands Beach, Ali‘i Drive cafés and shops, local farmers’ markets and Hulihe‘e Palace are within walking access. Pu‘uhonua O Hōnaunau National Historical Park, Two Step snorkeling, the Kona dining and shopping district, golf courses and hiking trails are a short drive away. A car is recommended. Free on-site parking is available, but electric-vehicle charging is not available.
