The house

The multilevel house rises around a central courtyard, with a freeform pool beneath the main living floor. A stacked-stone waterfall feeds the pool, and an outdoor staircase connects the upper level to the deck. A covered poolside dining table seats twelve. The private yard reaches lava rock and sand at the ocean, with a shaded hammock and loungers. Beach towels, an outdoor shower and outdoor seating are provided.

Sliding glass walls connect the main living room to a covered ocean-facing lanai with a west-facing sectional. A separate sitting room also has an ocean view. The coastal dining room seats eight and has folding louvered shutters. Koa cabinetry features in the kitchen and bathrooms. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, blender, wine fridge, slow cooker, rice cooker, dishes and utensils; a barbecue is also available.

All four bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and lanais. The primary suite has an ocean view, central air conditioning and two air-conditioned walk-in closets. Bedroom 2 has a garden view and central air conditioning; Bedroom 3 has a garden view and window air conditioning. Bedroom 4 has an ocean view and window air conditioning. A separate powder room is also available.

Facilities include Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, linens, an iron, hair dryer, ceiling fans, television with satellite or cable service, and a smart TV. The home has a private entrance and self check-in/check-out. Safety equipment includes smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, a fire extinguisher and a first-aid kit. Free parking and a garage are available.

Keiki Beach, a sandy swimming cove, is a short stroll away. Kailua Pier and the shops and restaurants along Alii Drive are nearby, as is a community park with pickleball courts. Kona International Airport is north of town. The community gate is staffed 24 hours a day.
