The house

Kona Dreams accommodates six guests across 1,748 square feet. The main level has a high-ceilinged, open-plan great room, dining area and breakfast nook. Large windows and multiple lanais provide ocean views and outdoor dining space. The kitchen has a central island, stainless steel appliances, cookware, a refrigerator and freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, blender and rice cooker.

The upper-level primary suite has a California king bed, an ensuite full bathroom, a private ocean-view lanai and space for a crib or Pack & Play. The two lower-level guest bedrooms each have a queen bed, partial ocean and garden views, private lanai access and access to a shared full bathroom. All three bedrooms have window air conditioning and ceiling fans.

The private heated pool is surrounded by tropical landscaping, with shaded and sunny deck seating and a barbecue. Upper and lower lanais offer places to dine and watch the ocean; binoculars are provided for whale watching. Beach towels, chairs and a cooler are available. Other facilities include Wi-Fi, an Ethernet connection, a washer and dryer, linens, a hair dryer, an iron, television with satellite or cable, and a smart TV. The home has a private yard, private entrance and self check-in/check-out. Safety equipment includes a smoke detector, fire extinguisher and first aid kit.

Downtown Kona and Ali‘i Drive are minutes away. Shopping, cafés and local dining are a walk or short drive away; Kona beaches, surf spots, historic sites and coastal parks are a short drive away. A car is recommended, and free parking is available. Children are welcome, and long-term stays are allowed.
