The cabin is primarily rented to families. Smoking is not permitted. Small dogs may be allowed only with prior notice and an additional fee. Bed linen and towels must be brought; final cleaning, electricity, pillows, duvets, and firewood are included.

Cross-country ski trails are 10 m away, Rødungen fishing is 300 m away, Skarslia Ski Centre is 3 km away, Ål is 30 km away, the nearest shop is 18 km away, and the train station is 30 km away. The summer road reaches the cabin; in winter it is plowed as weather permits.
