The house

The condo sleeps four, with a queen bed in the primary bedroom and a sleeper sofa with a full mattress in the living room. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. Air conditioning serves the living room, and ceiling fans are in the bedroom and living room.

The full kitchen has new appliances, cooking utensils, a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and toaster. There is a dining area, Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer and a flat-screen television with satellite or cable service. Linens, shampoo, a hair dryer and an iron are provided.

The large tiled lanai opens from the living room and has seating, ocean glimpses through the palms and views toward Haleakala. Beach chairs and boogie boards are stored in its cupboard. Shared facilities include a community pool and hot tub; free parking and a BBQ are available.

Restaurants, bars, a health-food store, an ice cream shop and souvenir shops are within walking distance. The Shops at Wailea are about a mile south, and Wailea and Makena golf are a short drive away. Kahului and OGG airport are roughly 20 minutes north. Whales pass offshore seasonally, roughly December through April.
