Getting there
A car is recommended. Kahaluʻu State Beach Park is a mile down the shoreline and a short drive away. Sam Choy’s Kai Lanai restaurant is within walking distance, and downtown Kailua-Kona is a short drive away. Electric-vehicle charging is not available at the property.
