The house

Kalama Terrace P302 sleeps four with a queen bed in the primary bedroom and a queen sofa sleeper in the living area. The bedroom has Martha Stewart Maui Medallion linens, Supima cotton sheets and a ceiling fan, and is near the condo's only full bathroom. Air conditioning covers part of the condo, with ceiling fans throughout.

The equipped kitchen includes Corelle dishware, a full-size range, oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and dishwasher. Dining options include an indoor table for two, barstool seating on the lanai and the covered poolside BBQ area. The condo also has outdoor seating, a smart television with satellite or cable service, Wi-Fi and an Ethernet connection. Washer, dryer and paid laundry facilities are available.

The shared grounds have a community pool with a recently updated deck, palm shade and gas grills. Mature landscaping includes an herb garden and fruit trees that guests may pick from. The complex runs largely on rooftop solar. Free assigned parking comes with the unit. Access involves one flight of stairs, with no elevator.

Charley Young Beach, Kalama Beach Park and Cove Park are within an easy walk, along with restaurants and shops. Grocery runs to Safeway, Foodland or Hawaiian Moon take about five minutes; Costco, Target and Walmart are about twenty minutes north in Kahului. Kahului Airport is about 25 minutes away. A car is recommended.
