The house

The 9,452-square-foot estate has vaulted ceilings, skylights, wall-to-wall windows, mahogany details and a stacked-stone fireplace. A wet bar connects the kitchen and lounge, with ocean views from the dining area and upstairs loft. Multiple dining tables, lounge areas and a balcony provide separate gathering spaces.

The kitchen has triple refrigerators, quartz counters, a wine fridge, two ovens, a stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and grinder, rice cooker, blender, toaster and kettle. A grilling cabana and outdoor kitchen extend cooking outdoors. The home theater seats 16 and has surround sound and a nearby bathroom; television, DVD, satellite or cable TV and smart TV are also available.

Outside are a 100-foot private infinity pool facing the ocean, a hot tub, covered lanai, outdoor seating and dining, a private yard and a private outdoor shower. Beach towels, beach chairs and boogie boards are provided. A pickleball court is also available.

All six bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and ceiling fans. The primary bedroom has an ocean view, balcony or deck, and a bathroom with a soaking tub and walk-in shower. Guest Bedroom 2 is a flex room with an ocean view and space for a crib or pack and play; confirm its bedding configuration. Guest Bedroom 3 has a walk-in shower and jacuzzi tub. Guest Bedroom 4 has closet storage. Guest Bedrooms 3, 4 and 6 have blackout drapes. Split air conditioning is available in Guest Bedrooms 2 and 6 only; the primary bedroom and Guest Bedrooms 3, 4 and 5 have no AC.

Wi-Fi, free parking, a washer and dryer, linens, extra pillows and blankets, shampoo, a hair dryer and an iron are provided. The estate has a private entrance, hot water, outdoor lighting, security cameras, smoke detectors, a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit. Onsite caretakers live in a separate private space and may assist when needed.

Downtown Kona is a five-minute drive away, with restaurants, shopping and the waterfront. Kona International Airport (KOA) is the closest airport. A car is recommended for exploring the island. Starter supplies cover approximately two to three days and must be replenished afterward.
