The house

The villa has 4,000 square feet of open-concept living space with ocean and tropical garden views. Sliding glass doors connect the living area to the pool and covered lanai. The dining table seats eight, with additional breakfast-bar seating. The kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, a large island, espresso machine, wine fridge, dishwasher, oven, stove and refrigerator; a wet bar and adjacent laundry area provide additional facilities.

The primary suite has an ensuite bathroom with a soaking tub, a private lanai and ocean views. Makai North has ocean and garden views; Makai South has ocean views and lanai access. Both have ensuite bathrooms. Mauka North and Mauka South have ensuite bathrooms and pool views; Mauka North also has a sleeper sofa in a bonus room.

Outdoor facilities include a private heated pool, hot tub, outdoor shower, tropical garden, private yard and a covered lanai with chaise lounges and seating. Beach towels, chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards, a cooler and a BBQ grill are provided. Additional beach equipment rentals are available for a charge. Indoors there are smart TVs, high-speed Wi-Fi, split air conditioning throughout, a washer and dryer, linens and a safe. Free parking and a secure garage are available.

Kailua and Kalama Beach Parks and downtown Kailua’s shops, cafes and dining are within walking distance. Downtown Honolulu is a 20-minute drive away. The villa is offered on a 30-day rental basis, with standard occupancy of 10 and a maximum of 12; additional guests above standard occupancy incur an extra fee.
