The house

LIVING AREA The living room is airy and elegant, with soaring ceilings adorned with intricate original mouldings and a striking gold half-dome pendant light. A mustard yellow velvet sofa takes centre stage, while a large gilded mirror above the white marble fireplace reflects the light pouring in through tall windows that open onto a wrought-iron Juliet balcony. The approach is minimalist but deliberate, letting the beauty of the herringbone parquet, the ornate plasterwork, and the generous proportions do the talking.

DINING AREA The dining room is wrapped in warm mustard yellow, creating an enveloping, convivial atmosphere. A large oak table for six sits beneath an ornate ceiling rose, framed by a magnificent red marble fireplace and a tall gilded mirror. KITCHEN The kitchen strikes a moodier note, finished in all-black cabinetry with brass handles and warm wooden countertops. Patterned tiles and a framed highland cow print inject personality into the space, while a window at the end keeps it from feeling dark.

Fully equipped and well organised, it has everything you need including a washing machine for longer stays. BEDROOMS The master bedroom is a serene retreat, painted in a soft sage green that feels instantly calming. A queen-size bed sits against built-in wardrobes in the same muted green tone, while a white marble fireplace topped with a tall gilded mirror adds classic Parisian grandeur. A mid-century wooden desk and cane chair provide a charming workspace beneath the ornate ceiling mouldings.

The second bedroom is bolder, with a striking forest green half-wall and a queen-size bed. BATHROOM The bathroom is clean and functional in soft beige tones, with a bathtub behind a gold-framed glass screen, a double wash basin set into a wooden vanity, a heated towel rail, and a large mirror.
