The house

The home sleeps up to 10 guests and has ocean views from the living room, primary bedroom, fitness room and patios. Retractable glass walls connect the great room to the rear patio. The living area includes a sectional, fireplace, Apple TV, Blu-ray player, in-ceiling speakers and an 1849 Bösendorfer piano. The dining table seats six, with four additional seats at the kitchen island.

The equipped kitchen includes a six-burner gas stove, double ovens, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, wine refrigerator, cookware, china and crystal service ware. A folding pass-through window connects the sink area to the outdoor BBQ station. The garden and private yard include a patio with seating and dining areas, a built-in BBQ, fire pit, hot tub and private 48-ft saltwater lap pool. Pool heating is optional for an additional fee.

Each of the four bedrooms has one queen bed, air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The primary bedroom has ocean views, a fireplace, patio access, TV and surround sound, plus an ensuite with a jacuzzi tub and multi-head shower. The Green and Gold rooms have garden views and share a Jack-and-Jill ensuite. The Suite has a private ensuite, mountain and garden views, and a balcony.

Additional facilities include heating, high-speed Wi-Fi, an in-unit laundry room with washer and dryer, a home office with computer, printer and library, and an ocean-view fitness room with a bike, elliptical, multi-gym and free weights. Toys, games and a ping-pong table are available.

The home is on a hillside in La Jolla, San Diego, outside a resort. La Jolla Shores Beach and restaurants are within walking distance. La Jolla Village, Torrey Pines Golf Course, Birch Aquarium, San Diego Zoo and SeaWorld are a short drive away. A car is recommended. Stays require a minimum of 30 nights.
