The house

The main residence has a vaulted, open-beam great room with living and dining areas and a media room. Stacking glass doors open to the oceanfront lanai. The open kitchen has wood cabinetry, stainless appliances, a gas range and an island with seating, plus a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, oven, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, blender and rice cooker.

The primary suite occupies its own structure and has a California king bed, ensuite bathroom, private entrance, ocean views and direct lanai access. Two guest bedrooms in the main home each have a California king bed, ensuite bathroom and blackout drapes. The detached ohana contains two queen-bed sleeping areas separated by a partial pony wall rather than a full wall; this open arrangement suits families comfortable sharing space. Every room has split air conditioning and a ceiling fan.

The covered, west-facing lanai has lounge seating, an outdoor dining table and a BBQ. A private hot tub sits on the lawn above the water. The property also has an outdoor shower, private yard, beach chairs and beach towels. A sandy path beside the house leads directly into the ocean along a rock-and-reef shoreline behind a seawall, with snorkeling and tide pools a short swim away.

Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, linens, a hair dryer, iron, television, satellite or cable TV and smart TV are available. Safety equipment includes a first aid kit, fire extinguisher, smoke detector and outdoor lighting. Self check-in and check-out are available.

Puako is a small residential community with reef access points and quiet lanes. Hapuna Beach and Beach 69 are a short drive up the coast. Mauna Lani and Mauna Kea resorts offer golf and dining under ten minutes away. Kona International Airport (KOA) is the arrival airport for the coast.
