The house

The apartment occupies a historic triple-brick school building that opened in 1888, with vaulted ceilings, double-glazed windows and modern furnishings. It is on the second level above a bluestone foyer and staircase.

The upstairs open-plan living area includes an equipped kitchen, microwave, coffee maker, four-seat dining table, sofa with chaise, armchair and TV. Downstairs are two bedrooms accommodating four guests, with one king bed and one queen bed. The master bedroom has a large wall-mounted TV; the queen bedroom has mirrored built-in storage. The bathroom has a shower and complimentary toiletries.

Central air-conditioning and heating, Wi-Fi, a washing machine, dryer, hair dryer and iron are provided. Free off-street parking accommodates one car. Windows cannot be opened for safety and maintenance reasons.

High Street and Chapel Street cafes, restaurants and boutiques are nearby, along with Prahran Market. Chapel Street and Greville Street nightlife are a short stroll away, and the Formula 1 Circuit is a 15-minute walk.
