# Idyll Time Carova Beach, NC, United States (general area) ## About the house The three-level home accommodates up to 24 guests in eight bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. The published bathroom total is 10, comprising nine full bathrooms and one half bathroom. Five king beds, two twin beds and four double-bottom/twin-top bunk sets provide the sleeping arrangements. The third-floor ensuite has a soaking tub, not a whirlpool, and deck access; three second-floor bedrooms also open onto a deck. The top floor contains an ocean-view great room, dining space for 24 and a kitchen with stainless steel appliances, two dishwashers, an island beverage refrigerator, quartz counters and four island stools. Kitchen equipment includes drip and pod coffee makers, a blender, microwave, toaster, dishes, utensils and cookware. An elevator serves all three floors. The second floor has a den with a large-screen TV, a wrap-around deck and a 12-person theater room accessible only from the deck. On the ground floor, the game room has a pool table, wet bar and refrigerator, with laundry nearby. Outdoor facilities include a private heated pool, kiddie pool, six-person hot tub, outdoor shower, gas grill, dune deck and a private beach walkway without steps. Five beach chairs, outdoor furniture, bed linens, bath towels, pillows, blankets, an iron and ironing board are provided. The home has central heating and air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, multiple Smart TVs and a private well. Satellite TV is offered in 2026; streaming TV is offered in 2027. A Welcome Program provides limited starter supplies, not supplies for the full stay. The home sits just before Milepost 21, approximately 8.1 miles up the beach, within walking distance of Carova Beach Park and Boat Ramp. A private beach walkway has no steps, but its condition can change with weather, erosion and sand migration. The elevator serves all three floors; steps or thresholds may be needed to reach it, and its dimensions and weight capacity are not guaranteed to meet ADA standards. The theater room is accessible only from the second-floor deck. No smoking. One dog is permitted with no weight limit; one additional pet costs $150 plus tax per week. Cats are not allowed. Pets must be well-behaved and housebroken and must stay out of pools and hot tubs. Children and pets must not ride the elevator unattended; children must not play in or around it.
