The hotel has 14 rooms, including family rooms, double/twin rooms, suites and single rooms, with shared bathroom facilities. Three separate units are offered for private group rental: Eyjólfspakkhús Green House (14 guests in 6 rooms), Hotel Flatey Upper Floor (11 guests in 5 rooms), and Hotel Flatey Ground Floor (7 guests in 3 rooms). The hotel and restaurant are open on weekends during Summer 2026. The hotel is approximately 400 metres from the harbour. Flatey is accessible by the Baldur Ferry from Stykkishólmur or Brjánslækur. Hotel guests receive a 25% discount on ferry fares; the discount does not apply during peak season.
