The hotel

Capitán Suizo is a family-owned boutique hotel directly on the beach in Tamarindo. It has 40 rooms across multiple categories, including bungalows, superior rooms, suites and a four-bedroom suite. Guest rooms are furnished with local materials and feature a king-size bed, sitting area with a queen-size sofa bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, balcony or terrace, Wi-Fi, mini-fridge, coffee and tea-making facilities, board games, safe, Bluetooth radio and closet. Rooms have a bathroom with shower and hair dryer. Most rooms can accommodate up to three guests; the four-bedroom suite can accommodate up to eight upon request. Superior rooms with connecting doors are available in certain rooms on request. The hotel also has an open-air garden spa offering treatments and beach massages, and a beachfront restaurant serving breakfast buffet and à la carte lunch and dinner with international and Costa Rican cuisine.
