The house

Honua Kai Konea 232 accommodates up to six guests and faces Mauna Kahalawai. Pocket-glass doors connect the living room to a 1,200-square-foot lanai furnished with chaise lounges and club seating. The living room has a smart TV. Both bedrooms have mountain views, central air conditioning, ceiling fans and blackout drapes; the primary suite has direct lanai access. Its ensuite includes a soaking tub, walk-in shower and dual granite vanities, while the guest ensuite has a walk-in shower. Additional sleeping accommodation is in the living room.

The kitchen has granite countertops, stainless appliances and a full cookware set, with a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, blender and ice machine. A dining area and BBQ are available. The unit includes central air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, linens, a hair dryer and an iron. Beach chairs, beach towels, sand toys, an insulated cooler bag, a Pack n Play and a small high chair are provided.

Shared resort facilities include a family lagoon, rock grotto, 100-foot water slide, lazy river, quiet pool and hot tubs, plus Duke's Beach House for poolside dining, Ho'ola Spa and a fitness center. North Kaanapali Beach is steps away. Times Supermarket and food trucks are a five-minute walk away; nearby cafés, bars and groceries are also within a five-minute stroll. Whalers Village is a seven-minute drive away, and Kaanapali and Kapalua golf courses are ten to twelve minutes away. Napili Bay is twelve minutes north. Kahului Airport (OGG) serves Maui.

Self-service check-in is available around the clock. Self-parking costs $20 + tax per night, paid at check-in. The lanai is open to the grounds below, and intermittent sounds can carry to the unit. A resort AC replacement project is scheduled to begin in January 2026; the unit remains air-conditioned during available rental dates, with its own construction period blocked from rental. Nearby work may cause intermittent noise, including brief hammer-drill use, on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Weekend work is not expected unless the project falls behind schedule.
