The house

The wooden holiday home has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a combined kitchen/living room. Bedroom 1 has single-bed sleeping spaces for two; bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 each have double-bed sleeping spaces for two. Both bathrooms have a toilet, hot and cold water and a shower. The house was built in 2001 and refurbished in 2021.

The kitchen has hot and cold water, an electric oven and four hobs, a refrigerator, cooker hood, 30-litre freezer, coffee brewer, microwave and dishwasher. The living area has armchairs, a wood-burning stove and one television with Apple TV. Wireless internet, a washing machine, tumble dryer, vacuum cleaner and smoke alarm are provided. The house is insulated for year-round use and has electric heating, a heat pump and bathroom underfloor heating.

Outside are a private fenced garden, an open terrace with tables and garden furniture, a barbecue, a shelter hut and a Finnish wooden hot tub. There are three free on-site parking spaces. No cots or high chairs are provided.

Stauning is on Ringkøbing Fjord, with opportunities for hiking, cycling, birdwatching, fishing and water sports. The fjord and fishing opportunities are 800 m away, shopping is 1 km away and the nearest restaurant is 500 m away. Skjern is 8 km away. A sea/sandy beach is 30 km away. Golf, padel and bowling are 8 km away; a swimming pool is 13 km away, and a water park and bicycle rental are 30 km away.
