The house

This wooden former farmhouse was built in 1800 and refurbished in 2006. It accommodates 10 guests in five bedrooms, with one bedroom on the ground floor and the others on the first floor. Two bedrooms each have a double bed, and three bedrooms each have two single beds. There is a living room and one bathroom with a shower, toilet, hot and cold water, and underfloor heating. The house is insulated for year-round use and has central heating.

The kitchen has hot and cold water, an electric cooker, refrigerator, cooker hood, 75-litre freezer, coffee brewer, microwave and dishwasher. A washing machine, vacuum cleaner, satellite TV and radio are provided. There is one high chair and one cot.

The 3,000 m² natural plot has a porch, garden furniture, a sandpit and barbecue. One free on-site parking space, a 13-foot rowing boat and an outdoor fish-cleaning area are available.

Lake Hummel is approximately 100 metres from the house and offers swimming and fishing for pike, perch and eel. Surrounding forests have hiking trails, with berries and mushrooms in season. Astrid Lindgren's World is 35 km away. Farm shops, an organic café and museums are within a 5 km radius; Blå Jungfrun island and Glasriket are other day-trip destinations.
