## About the house

The wooden house is one of four adjoining cottages, with sound insulation between homes and a large screened terrace with open and covered areas. Views extend across the fjord and mountains toward the Folgefonna glacier. The waterfront site covers 30,000 m². Garden furniture and a barbecue are provided.

Three bedrooms each have two single-bed sleeping spaces. The living room has two further sleeping spaces on a sofa bed, mattress or similar arrangement. Sleeping places are designated for six adults and two children. There is a kitchen/living room and one bathroom with a toilet, hot and cold water and a shower, plus a two-person whirlpool bath. The kitchen includes an electric cooker, refrigerator, cooker hood, 265-litre freezer, coffee brewer, microwave and dishwasher. A washing machine, tumble dryer and vacuum cleaner are available.

The house has year-round insulation, electric heating and ground-floor underfloor heating. Entertainment includes one television with German and Scandinavian satellite channels, a DVD player, radio and CD player. No cots or high chairs are provided.

A shared central building provides a sauna, billiards and table tennis. Guests have access to beaches, boat harbours, footpaths, nature golf, ball-game areas and a nature reserve with eagles. Fishing equipment and additional motorboats can be rented; most boats have depth finders. An outdoor fish-cleaning area and two echo sounders are available. This is a registered fishing camp, with fishing from April to October and no fishing licence required. Fish include cod, lythe, mackerel, herring, cusk and ling.

Day-trip destinations include Bergen, the Manor House in Rosendal and the Folgefonna summer ski centre.

This is a non-smoking house; pets are not permitted. Sleeping accommodation is designated for six adults and two children. Additional motorboats require advance booking. Optional extra boat and engine rental costs 3800 NOK per week.
