The house is in the mountain village of Les Aldudes in the Aldudes Valley, near the Spanish border. A river with a waterfall runs alongside the house, and the balcony offers a place to enjoy the surroundings. Built in 1839 and refurbished in 2020, the house has exposed beams and year-round insulation.

The accommodation has six bedrooms and two shower bathrooms, plus a separate toilet. Bedrooms 1, 2 and 5 have double-bed sleeping arrangements for two people each; bedrooms 4 and 6 have single-bed sleeping arrangements for one person each. The kitchen/diner has hot and cold water, a four-hob gas cooker, oven, refrigerator, 30-litre freezer, microwave, coffee brewer and dishwasher. A washing machine, vacuum cleaner, Wi-Fi, one satellite television with French channels and a smoke alarm are provided.

The area offers trail running, hiking and cycling, including the Euskal Trail. Marked trails and mountain-bike trails of 5–10 km are 250 m away. Shopping is 300 m away and the nearest restaurant is 400 m away. Saint-Étienne-de-Baïgorry is 15.4 km away and BIA airport is 68 km away.
