# Hilltop Hideaway Sag Harbor, NY, United States (general area) ## About the house Hilltop Hideaway accommodates up to nine guests on an acre of land on a private block. The open-plan interior has multiple sitting and dining areas, a living room with a gas fireplace, a sunroom and a dedicated work-from-home space. The kitchen includes appliances, a microwave, a coffee maker and preparation space. Central air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, linens, bath towels, pool/beach towels and a hair dryer are provided. The main-floor bedroom has a queen bed, an ensuite bathroom, streaming TV and a closet. Upstairs are a double/full bedroom, a king bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and streaming TV, a queen bedroom, and an additional sleeping space with a queen bed. All five sleeping spaces have air conditioning; the four bedrooms have closets. The four full bathrooms include a main-floor shower bathroom, an upstairs bathroom with a shower and tub, an upstairs shower/tub-combination bathroom, and a lower-level shower bathroom. A half bathroom is on the main floor. Outside are a private heated pool, an expansive fenced yard and an uncovered patio with an outdoor kitchen, gas barbecue, dining table, chairs, umbrella and lounge seating. Free parking is available. The home is minutes from Southampton, Sag Harbor and Bridgehampton, and Foster Memorial Beach is a short drive away. One dog of 25 lbs or less is permitted for an additional $250.00 per booking. Larger dogs, multiple dogs and all other pets require express approval. The additional-fee entry specifies $250 per dog per booking. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive utility usage, defined as utility costs over $150.00 per night of the reservation. One light cleaning per eight nights booked and one end-of-stay cleaning are included; extra cleanings are available at the guest's expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. On cancellation, Marquis may work with the owner to reopen the dates, at the owner's discretion. If the original dates are rebooked at the same or a higher price and the replacement payment is collected in full, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total original reservation amount is issued. If no new reservation is made, guests may use their original dates if payments comply with the booking schedule and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before the reservation begins. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments over $3,500 must be by check, ACH or wire. Instead of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 in damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. Special-use reservations may require an increased deposit.
