## About the house

The refurbished cottage has a combined living and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, two first-floor bedrooms, two shower rooms and an enclosed yard. Guests have access to the whole property.

The living area retains a traditional sash window and has a sofa and flat-screen TV. The dining area has a round table with four chairs. The kitchen includes an oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A coffee maker and bed linens are also provided.

The family shower room is just off the kitchen and contains a walk-in shower, WC and basin. Stairs lead to the bedrooms: the master has a double bed and an en-suite shower room, while the second bedroom has a king-size bed.

One well-behaved dog is welcome. Free on-street parking is available outside and on surrounding streets on a first-come, first-served basis. The fireplace is ornamental and cannot be used. Norton has a village green and duck pond, with frequent buses to Stockton, Middlesbrough and Darlington.
