The house

Haylock combines a rose-adorned facade and front porch with interiors blending period character and contemporary furnishings. The open-plan living area has two leather lounges, boucle chairs and a gas fireplace. Central air-conditioning and heating run throughout the home.

The equipped navy-and-white kitchen includes a SMEG oven, stove, microwave and coffee maker. Indoor and outdoor dining settings each seat 10. The shaded patio has a barbecue, with a fire pit and festoon lighting for evenings outdoors.

Five bedrooms each have a king bed that can be configured as two king singles upon request, along with central cooling and ceiling fans. The primary bedroom has an ensuite; two additional full bathrooms serve the home. All three bathrooms have showers and complimentary toiletries.

Wi-Fi, a dedicated workspace, television, washing machine, dryer and hair dryer are provided. There is a private entrance, garden views, free off-street parking for five cars and free street parking. A fire extinguisher, first aid kit and smoke detector are provided. Guests must climb stairs.

Bakeries, cafes, boutique shops, galleries and historic buildings are within walking distance. Regional cellar doors are a short drive away. Optional experiences and services include wine tours, private chefs, catering, in-home yoga and private transport; request assistance at booking.
