House rules

The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Maximum occupancy is eight, with no additional guests permitted. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Events are prohibited. Reservations involving events, commercial activities or other non-traditional uses, including rotating guest groups during one stay, require prior written host approval; additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may apply. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $100.00 per night of the reservation. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest's expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If a cancellation is successfully rebooked for the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after the replacement reservation is paid in full. Reopening dates is at the owner's discretion. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may retain their original stay provided scheduled payments are made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; larger payments must be by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement. The owner may show the property to prospective renters or buyers, with advance notice and efforts to arrange reasonable daytime hours. Reservations require approval before confirmation.

Getting there

The home is minutes from downtown Bridgehampton. The property is not handicap accessible and is not suitable for unrelated guests. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; seasonal cleaning and updates typically take place in late April or early May.
