## About the house

The house sits back from the road along a paved drive lined with palms and ti plants, with the Koolau ridges visible above neighboring rooftops. The living accommodation is upstairs, reached by one interior flight of wooden stairs from the entry door. Covered carport parking is beneath the living level.

The open-plan main room connects the living area, dining table and fully stocked kitchen. The living area has hardwood floors, two sofas and a television; the kitchen and dining area have tile flooring. Kitchen equipment includes a full-sized refrigerator, range, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, blender and rice cooker. A BBQ is also available.

The primary bedroom has a king bed and an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third has a king bed; both use the second full bathroom, which also has a bathtub. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa. All three bedrooms have split air conditioning, hardwood floors, double closet doors and full-length curtains. An additional split A/C unit serves the main room.

A stacked washer and dryer are in the second bathroom. Wi-Fi, smart television with satellite or cable service, ceiling fans, linens, beach towels, beach chairs and outdoor seating are available. Safety equipment includes a first-aid kit, fire extinguisher and smoke detector. One exterior security camera above the carport faces down the driveway.

The shoreline is a short walk from the house. Laie, BYU-Hawaii, the Polynesian Cultural Center and Pounders Beach are a short drive north. The Hauula Loop Trail climbs into the inland ridges. A car is necessary.
