House rules
Shareholder eligibility is required. No pets, smoking, parties, or events. Guests must clean the property and take all rubbish with them when departing. Food scraps must not be buried or left on site. Guests must report breakages or maintenance issues to the kaitiaki or Holiday Nelson. Unbooked guests may not use the bathroom facilities.
Getting there
The property is on private beachfront in Mārahau. Kaiteriteri Beach is stated as a 15-minute drive away, and the Abel Tasman Track is listed as 950 m away. Gates are locked, so guests must provide advance notice of their arrival time. Guests must bring chilly bins and ice because there is no fridge or freezer. Power is limited to solar-powered lighting and the water pump; there is no electricity for other appliances or charging devices. Water is rain-fed tank water for showering and boiling for drinking. Only booked guests may use the bathroom. Camping is not included and requires permission from Wakatū Incorporation.
