Built in 2015, the home spans more than 2,000 square feet over two floors, with an open-plan interior. An upper-level studio contains a bedroom and full bathroom. The chef’s kitchen has a large island and breakfast bar, stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, cookware and tableware. Dining spaces include a dining area, sunroom and outdoor deck. A large second-floor sitting balcony overlooks the property. Outdoor areas include a private heated saltwater in-ground pool, landscaped grounds, lawn, fenced backyard and an uncovered furnished patio. Indoors, the home has central air conditioning, heating, a usable fireplace, Wi-Fi, a laptop-friendly workspace, washer and dryer. Bed linens, bath towels, pool/beach towels and a hair dryer are provided. The homeowner handles property preparation, arrival coordination, maintenance requests and guest communication after booking. Haven’s, Foster Memorial and Wades beaches are minutes away. The property is not suitable for persons with disabilities. Outside Memorial Day to Labor Day, inquire before booking about outdoor furniture and equipment availability; spring cleaning and updates typically occur in late April or early May. The primary renter must be at least 30 years old. Maximum occupancy is eight; no additional persons are permitted. Pets and smoking are prohibited. Events are prohibited. Events, commercial activities and other non-traditional uses, including rotating groups during one stay, require prior written host approval and may incur additional fees or an increased security deposit. Reservations require approval before confirmation. Utility fees are included, but guests are responsible for excessive usage, defined as utility costs over $135.00 per night of the reservation. One end-of-stay cleaning is included. For stays longer than seven nights, one cleaning per week is mandatory at the guest’s expense. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If the owner elects to reopen canceled dates and Marquis rebooks the original dates at the same or a higher price, a refund less a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount is issued after full payment for the replacement reservation. If no replacement reservation is made, guests may still use their original dates provided scheduled payments have been made and Marquis receives written notice at least 72 hours before arrival. Credit-card balance payments are capped at $3,500; payments over $3,500 must be made by check, ACH or wire. In lieu of a security deposit, the property has up to $25,000 of damage protection, subject to the booking agreement.
