## About the house

The lower-ground apartment has French cottage-style interiors. The bedroom contains a double bed in an alcove, with a French door opening onto a private patio furnished with a table for two and a bench. The lounge has wooden flooring, a log burner and a large double sofa bed for additional guests. The kitchen and bathroom are accessed through the bedroom.

The modern kitchen includes cookware, crockery, coffee, cooking basics, a cafetière, microwave and dishwasher. The bathroom has a full-sized walk-in shower and a low arched ceiling. Bed linens, bath towels, guest toiletries, body soap, an iron, ironing board and hairdryer are provided; a carbon monoxide detector is available.

Guests have use of the entire apartment, the rear outdoor space and the communal front garden opposite the house. The hosts live above the apartment and can offer local tips; guest support is available every day of the week.

Hanover Crescent is opposite The Level, which has cafés, a children's play area, skate park and table tennis facilities. Supermarkets and independent businesses are nearby on Lewes Road, and Hanover has family-friendly pubs. North Laine and the Royal Pavilion are a 15–20-minute walk away, with bars, restaurants and independent shops within a 5–10-minute walk.

Remove shoes indoors and be considerate to neighbours. No extra guests, smoking or parties are permitted. Lost keys or keys not returned to the correct location incur a charge. Lockout assistance during the stay costs a minimum of £25. Unless agreed in advance, late checkout incurs a fee of £50 per hour. Smoking indoors incurs a £50 fine. Well-behaved pets are welcome.
